Plan and implement development research and analysis tasks under supervision.
You have:
- Minimum age: 22 years old and must be nationals of or legal residents in the country of assignment.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in social sciences such as sociology, economics, political science, international relations or related fields.
- 4 years total work experience, with demonstrated experience in research related to development topics.
- Fluent in Spanish (Mandatory).
- Fluent in English (Mandatory).
- Demonstrated knowledge about international cooperation frameworks and the 2030 Agenda.
- Previous experience in any UN agency, program or fund will be highly valued.
Contract
This is a UNV National Specialist contract. This kind of contract is known as National UN Volunteer. It is normally only for nationals. More about UNV National Specialist contracts.

Description of task
Bajo la supervisión directa del Team Leader y de la Economista de la OCR, el/la Voluntario(a) de la ONU llevará a cabo las siguientes tareas:
- Planificar y ejecutar el levantamiento de información para la elaboración de componentes y capítulos específicos del CCA, siguiendo lo establecido en las Directrices para el proceso del CCA dadas por la sede.
- Elaborar y aplicar instrumentos para el levantamiento de información de fuentes primarias.
- Sistematizar información generada durante reuniones y talleres virtuales.
- Revisar y analizar fuentes secundarias en español e inglés.
- Analizar indicadores y tendencias del desarrollo.
- Apoyar la elaboración de un repositorio que permita almacenar y actualizar la información clave del CCA.
- Redactar informes.
- Apoyar la elaboración de agendas y minutas de reuiones.
- Apoyar la incorporación de los comentarios y sugerencias de las diferentes Agencias, Fondos y Programas (AFP) en los diferentes capítulos del CCA.
- Otras acciones relacionadas con los quehaceres de la OCR en el proceso de construcción del CCA y del UNSDCF.

- Excelente redacción en español e inglés.

- Experiencia previa en alguna agencia, programa o fondo de la ONU será altamente valorado.
