Plan and supervise the alternative development strategy of the program.

You have:

  • Professional training in agronomy, agricultural engineering, agricultural administration or related fields.
  • Minimum seven years of specific work experience in the geographical areas of the contract.
  • Proven work experience of three years in processes of alternative crop substitution.
  • Essential experience in agricultural development, productivity, and agricultural value chains with rural communities in Tibú.
  • Experience working with governmental and non-governmental rural development programs.
  • Experience in managing databases and monitoring and evaluation systems for alternative crop substitution and rural development programs.
  • Experience in inter-institutional coordination with public and private entities responsible for rural development public policy at the territorial level.
  • Three years of experience in similar positions with international NGOs or similar employment in the public and/or private sector.
  • Preferably experience working with rural communities, ethnic groups, and sensitivity to approaches related to gender, ethnicity, race, disability, and age.
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and manage interdisciplinary teams.
  • Skills and experience to present technical reports, follow-up work plans, financial reports, M&E reports, and technical analysis at the agricultural level.
  • Cultural and social knowledge of rural communities in Tibú and proven experience in community dialogue.
  • Social skills for interaction with groups, communities, and entities from the private and public sectors in Catatumbo.
  • Knowledge in the use of Word, Excel, PPT, Geographic Information Systems, Outlook, social networks, and the internet.
