About the job

DRC introduced a new global ERP system in 2019, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (internally called DRC Dynamics). The ERP system launch led to constant effort for further implementation, support, and optimisation. Supply Chain functionalities are still to be implemented in a third of our operations. In order to complete the roll out in all countries, we are recruiting additional support staff to provide direct training of users and support country offices to be fully operational in DRC Dynamics.

The ERP Specialist with Supply Chain focus will report to the Regional Supply Chain Manager in DRC’s WANALA (West Africa, North Africa, Latin America) Regional Office. The ERP Specialist with Supply Chain focus will be part of the team dedicated to DRC Dynamics further roll-out.

The overall role of this position is to support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics to handle Supply Chain processes in the outstanding operations from WANALA, across all the phases of implementation.

The main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Provide advisory and support to the operations for data clean-up and data migration, in line with the guidelines and tools prepared by HQ team;
  • Constant follow-up with the operations and report the status of data clean-up and training readiness;
  • Provide support for data migration in collaboration with HQ colleagues
  • Be the local focal point for the training planning;
  • Active participation in classroom trainings – address questions, facilitate and provide support for the demo sessions; etc
  • Be key resource for the hyper-care once the countries start using Microsoft Dynamics to handle Supply Chain processes (procurement, fixed assets).
  • Be ready to be deployed to the operations whenever extra support is needed to get used to the new way of working (in-situ hyper-care)
  • Gather lessons learned from the roll-out efforts and provide feedback to HQ team
  • Support the Regional and Country offices to incorporate “off-line” data into DRC Dynamics
  • Proactive follow-up on system usage and quality concerns

  • HQ, Regional and Country Offices
  • ERP implementation team and Competency Center
  • DRC Supply Chain staff and other support functions as appropriate

About you

To be successful in this role we expect the following:

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of Supply Chain operation with NGOs/UN or similar international organizations, preferably both HQ and field experience
  • University Degree (Supply Chain, Business administration, IT or similar), minimum Bachelor, Master preferred.
  • Experience of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Experience in training diverse staff group
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to reach people with different capacities and cultural background
  • English and French (fluent)
