Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Environment Specialist is assigned to the Climate Change, Resilience and Environment Cluster within the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department (CCSD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila.
You will report to the Director, Environment and will oversee national and administrative staff.
Your Role
As an Environment Specialist you will contribute and coordinate the implementation of ADB’s Environment Action Plan (EAP) and related activities on promoting investments in nature within ADB’s portfolio covering both nature positive investments and mainstreaming investments. Among other tasks, you will serve as the focal person and support the director and senior staff on the implementation of the EAP, including organizing the Working Group and Environment Community of Practice. You will also coordinate and support the implementation of the Asia Clean Blue Skies Program through the management of the TA and support investment projects related to air quality improvement within ADB’s portfolio. You will also develop knowledge products and disseminate these through training and networks.
