Task Duration: 15 days over a one-month period

About the job

Are you an experienced Data Enumerator working in or looking to work in Benghazi, Libya? We are looking for a daily workers to be responsible for the effective and timely data collection for a new project in Benghazi that will work across 3 new sectors of operation for DRC in Benghazi – economic recovery, community safety, and protection. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Data collection S/he will support the MEAL team in data collection. The worker will conduct data
• collection via phone call, PDMs, Verification, and upload data onto relevant information management platforms
• Data review and uploads
• Updating relevant tools and trackers for data collection
• Uploading data onto Ona platform
• Modify and edit any inaccuracies in data collection
• Experience and technical competencies
• Experience in working with Non-Governmental Organizations
• Familiarity with PDM conduction
• Very good interpersonal and team skills
• Commitment to humanitarian principles and values

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to carry out the interview, focus group discussion (FGD), key information interview (Kll,) . Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

• Fluent in Arabic and knowledge of English languages
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to communicate with different groups
• Computer literate
• Experience in conducting field assessments, data collection, and interviews

Desirable

• Ability to gather information in an objective, appropriate and sensitive way by carefully observing, actively listening, paying full attention to the situation and the information from the various sources, and understanding the points being made,
• Ability to build trusting relationships
• Able to remain impartial and maintain confidence
• Able to elicit information without leading the interviewee
