The UNESCO Regional Office for Central Africa issues a number of reports and newsletters, which need to revised, edited, proofread and sometimes verified for content, and formatted to fit certain layout. The programme officers or project managers produce the initial technical content and reports, which subsequently need to be proofread for spelling or grammatical mistakes and layout.

    The reports, newsletters and documents produced in this context cover a wide range of thematic areas under UNESCO's areas of mandate. They cover Education, Social and Human Sciences, Natural and Exact Sciences, Culture, and Communication and Information. The documents are either regular or ad-hoc reports, monthly newsletters, or project proposals documents. The language of the documents depends on the country, as the Regional Office for Central Africa covers 10 countries mostly francophone, of which Cameroon is bilingual french and English, Chad is bilingual French and Arabic, Angola and Sao Tome are Portuguese speaking, Guinea Equatoriale is Spanish speaking.
