Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Service Delivery, Documentation, Reporting, and Contract Compliance - Oversee staff, interns, and volunteers providing employment, job training, cash assistance, and support services to clients enrolled in employment programs. - Monitor intake and enrollment trends, quality of service provision, timeliness, and accuracy of case file documentation. Ensure quality of data in relevant databases. - Collaborate with the Resettlement supervisor, Caseworkers, and other internal programs to facilitate a smooth transition of RP cases from their initial resettlement services and coordinate ongoing services for RP clients that have exited Resettlement Program and continue to be eligible for Matching grant Program services. - Oversee growth and expansion of employer partnerships, job training programs, and opportunities that promote client self-sufficiency. - Compile regular and ad hoc reports. - Contribute to preparing grants to maintain and expand Employment Services programming. - Partnership Building - Engage with local employers and employment networks to generate job leads and promote the hiring of IRC clients. - Liaise with local agencies to ensure clients can access benefits and services effectively. - Staff Supervision and Other Responsibilities - Supervise and coach staff through close communication regarding challenging cases; carry out timely, professional interventions to ensure appropriate service delivery. - Recruit, train, orient, monitor, and evaluate staff performance and ensure staff objectives are met. - Participate in IRC network-wide initiatives to understand and share best practices. - Represent IRC in public, professional, and governmental forums as assigned. - Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education: Undergraduate degree required, preferably in social work or related field.

Work Experience:

- Relevant professional experience in human services is required; a minimum of 2 years’ experience is strongly preferred. - At least 2 years’ experience in program and people management is strongly preferred.

Ability to lead in a way that recognizes that IRC’s work is best accomplished through the true collaboration of individuals from many cultures with a great variety of skills and perspectives. - Strong relationship-building, diplomacy, and networking skills; effectively building internal and external relationships. - Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multicultural environment. - Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. - Attention to detail and accuracy in work product. - Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in the language(s) spoken by the client group is desired. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving. - Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.

Working Environment:

- A combination of the standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above-outlined responsibilities. - Occasional domestic travel required; up to 10% - May require occasional weekend and evening work.
