You have:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Data, or related field; or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Advanced Excel skills including lookups (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH), pivot tables, conditional formatting, duplicate handling.
- Experience running structured data quality checks across multiple sources.
- Comfortable working with large datasets (30,000+ rows).
- Ability to work independently using detailed process documentation and recorded handover materials.
- Comfort reading and interpreting structured HR or employee data.
- Required Language: English.

Key Responsibilities:
The Employee Engagement Data Analyst owns the data preparation behind World Vision's annual Our Voice employee engagement survey. The role partners with HR colleagues across the globe and with the external survey vendor (Perceptyx) to ensure every eligible employee is included, every record is accurate, and the data foundation supports reliable, trustworthy results. This is a fixed-term role covering the Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) survey cycle (October 2026 to February 2027).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Cleaning, Merging, Reconciliation, Submission:
- Own preparation of the global survey dataset, combining HR system (Workday) data with separately collected office submissions.
- Apply business rules consistently and reconcile records across all data sources.
- Submit a single, validated dataset to the survey vendor on schedule, with all quality checks complete.
Data Collection:
- Own employee data collection from offices that operate outside the HR system (Workday).
- Partner with HR contacts globally to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
- Validate returned data against established quality standards; identify and resolve issues proactively.
During Survey Support:
- Serve as the data point of contact during the live survey period.
- Investigate and resolve participant data queries; escalate systemic issues to the Our Voice programme lead (survey owner).
Post-Survey Updates:
- Process post-survey demographic corrections to preserve year-on-year trend continuity.
- Update manager and reporting line data ahead of results release.
- Resolve ad-hoc data issues as they surface.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Data, or related field; or equivalent qualification or experience.
