Result of Service The consultant’s outputs will contribute to the program’s goals in empowering government counterparts in offering user friendly and streamlined e-services through the eRegistrations platform.

Duties and Responsibilities In the context of the implementation of the Business Facilitation Program, there is a need to build a microservice for file storage for services created with the Registrations system.

Under the supervision of the project coordinator, in close collaboration with other international experts, the consultant will be entrusted with the development of new configurable micro service that enables to store documents in an S3 file storage through the following tasks:

  • Analyze the available technological open source components that would be best fit for file storage and assess their compatibility with the eRegistrations system.

  • Develop code to integrate the selected file storage solutions and ensure that the following processes are performed: o Open transactions in the storage provider system on user action. o Implement behavior on no response or negative response transactions in the system.

  • Test all possible flows and scenarios (successful transaction, canceled, timeout), adapt as needed and repair bugs.

  • Integrate the file storage solution in the relevant eRegistrations services.

    Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree, Master, in Information Technology or related field, required. Bachelor degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in development and implementation of IT systems and software development. Experience of work with eGovernment tools such as the eRegistrations system, desirable.

    Languages Fluent in written and spoken English.
