For every child, Learning!

The Libya country office has a new Country Programme Document for 2023-2025. The second priority is to strengthen UNICEF’s downstream activities particularly with data collection (for EMIS), teacher education, and access and quality of learning for children in formal education as well as Out of School Children (OOSC). UNICEF will work in close collaboration with the MoE to develop policies and programmes for teacher professional learning, embedding life skills into the curriculum and promoting positive learning environments in classrooms. UNICEF will also train teachers in areas including pedagogy and inclusive education. UNICEF has an education programme for Out of School Children, particularly for migrants and refugees in community centers, called Baity centers.
