Position: Education Project Technical Assistant
Reports to: Education in Emergency Project Manager, supervised by Education Project Officer
Supervision of: Incentive based volunteers (IBVs)
Duty station: Derna, Libya
Travel: Regular travel to project field locations
Duration and type of contract: renewable (based on performance and funding)
1. Role and responsibilities
The purpose of the Education Project Assistant is to assist in the education emergency response contributing to the implementation of education and PSS activities for both Libyan and non-Libyan children and adolescents (formal and non-formal education) under supervision of the Education Project Officer. Activities include but not limited to; NRC Better Learning Programme (BLP), teacher professional development, non-formal education classes, adolescent girls/boys clubs, outreach activities.
