Role and responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities - Plan, develop and follow up on the data process and tools in cooperation with the -Monitoring and Development (M&E) department, Education Specialist team and Project Manager (PM) - Ensure that the data collected by education staff is accurate, clean and complete before filing it on one-drive

- Keep the one-drive folder well organized and up to date - Build the needed data collection tools to properly reflect the activities implemented against the project indicators as stated in the Indicators Tracking Table (ITT ) and project plans in coordination between M&E team and PM. - Attend and support data validation meetings - Organize the data flow within the Education Team - Build the capacity of volunteers in data collection to ensure accurate data is being collected

Generic responsibilities :

- Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines - Implement delegated Host Education Project portfolio according to plan of action - Prepare and develop status reports as required by management - Ensure proper filing of documents - Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist - Promote and share ideas for technical improvement - Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.

Critical interfaces By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are: - Relevant core competency implementation staff - Core Competency Specialists - M&E department

Generic professional competencies: • Experience working as an Information Management or Education Officer in a humanitarian/recovery context • Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts • Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities • Some knowledge of English

Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience: • A minimum of 2 years experience in Information Management or a relevant roleRelevant educational background or experience in the humanitarian sector • Strong skills working in Excel • Willingness to work in the field • Attention to detail is a must 2.
