UNAMA is a UN Special Political Mission tasked with assisting the people of Afghanistan. Its development pillar serves to further integrate development efforts in Afghanistan. The The Aid Coordination Coherence Section (ACCS) is responsible for enhancing the coherence of international aid efforts, the activities of UN entities in Afghanistan, and engagement with the De Facto Authorities (DFA), including in the context of the Doha Process Private Sector Working Group.

The Online Volunteer will play a key role in improving the quality and presentation of various documents and materials, thereby contributing to the effectiveness of ACCS’s communication and reporting efforts with traditional donors, regional countries, UN partners, the DFA, and the private sector in Afghanistan.

The Aid Coordination Coherence Section (ACCS) of UNAMA is seeking a highly skilled Online Volunteer to support its editing, drafting, and digital content enhancement work. The Online Volunteer will play a crucial role in improving the quality and presentation of various documents and materials, contributing to the effectiveness of the ACCS’ communication and reporting efforts.

The Online Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: - Improve the 2-3 design of PowerPoint presentations using advanced digital tools for better visualization and engagement. Including assist in the visualization of data through infographics, charts, and other graphical elements. - Provide feedback and recommendations to improve document presentation and readability. - Take notes during online meetings and draft comprehensive and well-structured meeting summaries, and enhance the quality of drafts prepared by colleagues, ensuring proper structure, formatting, and language use. - Edit and refine reports, presentations, meeting summaries, and other documents to ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency.
