The UN Country team in Kazakhstan will send a proposal in the form of an "expression of interest" to the UN programme on Persons with disabilities (PwD) at the end of September. The document (consisting of answers to a series of questions) was developed in English by different people. While attempts have been made to edit it and make it coherent. We need an editor preferably English mother tongue and with expertise on the subject matter (PwD) and relevant terminology. The document is approximately 15 pages long (excluding the explanatory notes and the questions which don't need to be edited). We are therefore looking for a volunteer with experience in editing to make the expression of interest stronger.

The UN Country Team from Kazakhstan is developing a short proposal or an expression of interest that needs to be submitted to the UN programme on persons for disabilities. The document consists of answers to several questions contained in the EoI and is being developed with inputs from several staff. While attempts are being made to make the document coherent and flow well, we believe it would benefit from some editing to ensure it flows well. If this document is selected, the UNCT would then develop a full-fledged proposal to support activities for persons with disabilities in Kazakhstan.
