Duties and Responsibilities
The work is an output related to the project outcome on Enhanced political and intellectual momentum for reforming international debt architecture consistent with the 2030 Agenda, by building political support and strategic engagement in international fora. Under the supervision of the Head of the Debt & Development Finance Branch (DDFB), Division on Globalization and Development Strategies (DGDS), the individual contractor will - Convert virtual meetings and side events for FfD and the IMF Spring meetings. - Arrange three side events and up to ten virtual meetings with a range of participants from the private sector, academia and member states - Co-ordinate two policy briefings on possible practical solutions for the debt and development crisis. - Prepare two policy briefings on practical solutions for the debt and development crisis The analysis will be based on a collation of the inputs from these meetings and based on desk research reviewing relevant documents.
Qualifications/special skills
An advanced university degree, Master, in economics or related fields is required. At least 1 year of experience in economic analysis and research with expertise in development economics and debt is required
Languages
Fluency written and spoken in English is required.
