EARLY CAREERS PROGRAM

6-month duration

(Please note: This role is not eligible for relocation or work authorization support – work onsite from our New York office, 3 days per week, is required)

Conditions and benefits of the Early Careers Programme

  • Full-time onsite employment contract of 6 months with the World Economic Forum, New York office
  • We are flexible to accommodate start dates between April 1 and April 29 2024
  • Monthly gross compensation of USD $4000
  • All required technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone) and accesses provided
  • This program is not eligible for relocation or work authorization support

Sustainable Finance Team

The Sustainable Finance Team, part of the Center for Financial and Monetary Systems, is looking for a dedicated early careers program (ECP) candidate to join our dynamic team. The Sustainable Finance team engages a multistakeholder community of public and private financiers alongside industry stakeholders to accelerate the mobilization of capital towards climate and nature. The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Initiative support, community engagement and coordination: help the team to maintain and organise the engagement across the transition finance community;
  • Research and Communication: assist the team conduct research on industry transformation and decarbonization. Support stakeholders mapping, curation of impact stories for the Sustainable Finance Team’s initiatives, another example here. Support the creation of documentation and materials such as reports, World Economic Forum Agenda Blogs, and presentations for events and workshops;
  • Events planning and logistics, admin/operations: Help organize and facilitate regional and country workshops in locations including Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and others. Learn to code in Salesforce, gain expertise in Toplink and other Forum platforms.

Preferred requirements and experience

  • Background or demonstrated interest in sustainable finance, financing for climate and nature, and international collaboration;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with leading experts and practitioners.
  • Ability to work in a high preforming environment and be a team player;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Administrative and Coordination experience

Vaccination requirement
