Develop and deliver data and reporting solutions

You have:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in Data & Analytics/Reporting domain or master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in reporting or data analytics, data architecture, data management role.
• Strong programming skills and ability to utilize a variety of Reporting/Data/ETL platforms like Composite, Dremio, SAP BO, Oracle, Data Virtualization, Power BI, Tableau, Informatica.
• Advanced and in-depth experience in developing solutions on Tibco Composite, Dremio or SAP Business Objects; Tableau & Power BI.
• Expert proficiency with SQL & PL/SQL, to conduct data analysis, validations, and data discovery.
• Any exposure to TIBCO Composite, Informatica, Python, PEGA, MONGO, Azure-EDLS/ADF is highly preferred.
• Should have worked on data warehouse technologies (data marts/data vault/data lakes).
• Strong communication skills with an ability to comprehend and communicate technical findings as they relate to business needs and resulting implications. Ability to work in a diverse team.
• Should be strongly process oriented, understanding problem, doing analysis, interviewing stakeholders, writing requirements, getting sign off, handing off to dev, etc.
• Should have experience in Data Modeling and Database design in transforming the logical database model to physical schema or defining canonical data sets is highly preferred.
• Should be able to support multiple projects at a given time, depending on the size of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Works alongside with the business stakeholder and development teams, to develop end to end data and reporting solutions • Delivers impact analysis, through a comparison of current and future state, focused on identifying risks to changes in data flow or data integrity from the introduction, change, replacement or decommissioning of new systems or processes • Works closely with application development teams to ensure knowledge of data flows, impact of changes to application or database sources of truth and ensures data accuracy • Be hands on with end-to-end development of new data sets or reports and dashboards and modification of existing reports and dashboards, utilizing Business Objects/ Power BI /Tableau • Creating new data structures and support existing data marts/database views. • Troubleshooting of complex performance issues within the database/data warehouse. • Conducting performance tuning as well as optimization for database queries • Participate in developing dashboards and reports with advanced filtering and drill-down capabilities (using Tableau/Power BI Desktop, experienced with similar visualization tools). • Creating self-service analytical solutions for addressing business needs. • Design, construct, and maintain Business Objects universes/ semantic data models. • Support BI solutions by monitoring and investigating data integrity • Write data warehouse and ETL reporting requirements. • Design and develop software tools in existing platforms, and be responsible for design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment. • Point of contact for the business and vendors for core business applications under support • Prioritize requirements and applications changes with vendors and ensure quality of delivery • Act as SME and provide technical direction to project teams for any new application development.

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in Data& Analytics/Reporting domain or master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience. • 3+ years of experience in reporting or data analytics, data architecture, data management role • Strong programming skills and ability to utilize a variety of Reporting/Data/ETL platforms like Composite, Dremio, SAP BO, Oracle, Data Virtualization, Power BI, Tableau, Informatica • Advanced and in-depth experience (must-have) in developing solutions on Tibco Composite, Dremio or SAP Business Objects; Tableau & Power BI • Advanced experience in writing Complex SQL in Oracle with keeping performance in mind • Expert proficiency with SQL & PL/SQL, to conduct data analysis, validations, and data discovery • Any exposure to TIBCO Composite, Informatica, Python, PEGA, MONGO, , Azure-EDLS/ADF is highly preferred • Should have worked on data warehouse technologies (data marts/data vault/ data lakes) • Strong communication skills with an ability to comprehend and communicate technical findings as they relate to business needs and resulting implications. Ability to work in a diverse team • Should be strongly process oriented (understand problem, do analysis, interview stakeholders, write requirements, get sign off, hand off to dev, etc.) • Should be able to dive into the data issues and convey the recommendation(s) to the stakeholder • Self-starter with a track record in learning new technologies • Any experience in Data Modeling and Database design in transforming the logical database model to physical schema or defining canonical data sets is highly preferred • Should be able work with minimum supervision but know when to reach out for questions and collaboration. Prior Lead experience is a plus but not required. • Should be able to support multiple projects at a given time, depending on the size of the project.
