Overview

Drive vehicles for WVTL project and maintain them.

You have:

• At least minimum of 2 years of appropriated professional experience and knows the assigned areas
• Fluent in Tetun and preferably in the local dialects (Baikenu) in the area where you are serving
• Must have proven and proper driving license
• Minimum Senior High School Graduate
• Good Presentation and communication skills for a number of different audiences

The details of the Job Descriptions are on the following:

Driving (50%)

• Using the vehicle for the WVTL project or general office-related matters.
• Driving responsibly, following traffic signs, and respecting speed limits and other internal regulations for vehicle use.
• Maintaining a logbook that includes: the kilometers driven each day, the driver or assignment mission, any irregularities or damage to the vehicle, and any maintenance performed on the vehicle.
• Preparing accident reports for WVTL.

Maintenance (40%)

• Report the vehicle for maintenance according to the specified mileage or after any major accidents.
• Perform general maintenance on the vehicle, including cleaning, tire air pressure, brake fluid, radiator, oil checks, fuel levels, and spare tires.
• Ensure adequate fuel at the end of each day.
• Assist in preparing the vehicle maintenance card for each vehicle.
• Request vehicle spare parts if needed.
• Provide a work report for each maintenance session and highlight potential issues that were not resolved in the last maintenance.
• Perform preventive and forecasted maintenance.
• Complete the daily maintenance and repair records.

Others (10%)

• Responsible to demonstrate the organizational mission, vision and core values
• Additional task request by supervisors and other team members

Knowledge/Qualifications for the role

Required Professional Experience

• At least minimum of 2 years of appropriated professional experience and knows the assigned ares
• Fluent in Tetun and preferably in the local dialects (Baikenu) in the area where you are serving
• Preferable have experience in driving 4-weel drive car

Required Education, training, licence, registration and certificate:

• Must have proven and proper driving license
• Minimum Senior High School Graduate
• Good Presentation and communication skills for a number of different audiences
