You have:
- Minimum 3 years’ professional driving experience (preferably with NGOs/UN).
- Valid South Sudanese driving license (Class B or above).
- Strong 4x4/off-road driving skills and knowledge of local roads.
- Basic English and fluency in local languages (Dinka, Arabic).
- Basic vehicle mechanics and ability to do minor repairs.
- Training in defensive driving, first aid, or mechanics.
- Humanitarian/conflict-area experience.
- Knowledge of HF/VHF radio use.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport staff, visitors, and goods to assigned destinations.
- Follow traffic laws, DRC vehicle SOPs, and safety/security protocols.
- Perform daily vehicle checks, routine maintenance, and keep logbooks updated.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, documentation, and readiness for field trips.
- Ensure constant radio communication and report incidents or route changes.
- Support logistics with errands and other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ professional driving experience (preferably with NGOs/UN).
- Valid South Sudanese driving license (Class B or above).
- Strong 4x4/off-road driving skills and knowledge of local roads.
- Basic English and fluency in local languages (Dinka, Arabic).
- Basic vehicle mechanics and ability to do minor repairs.
Desirable:
- Training in defensive driving, first aid, or mechanics.
- Humanitarian/conflict-area experience.
- Knowledge of HF/VHF radio use.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
Education:
- Secondary or primary certificate.
- Mechanical background preferred.
