OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

La mission du Programme des urgences sanitaires del'OMS (le Programme) est de renforcer la capacite des Etats Membres a gerer lesrisques sanitaires d'urgence et, lorsque les capacites nationales sontdebordees, de diriger et de coordonner l'action sanitaire internationale pourcontenir les epidemies et fournir des secours et un relevement efficaces auxpopulations touchees.Le Departement de gestion et d'administration duProgramme des urgences sanitaires est responsable de la gestion et du soutienadministratif efficaces du programme d'urgence et de veiller a ce que lesoperations d'urgence de l'OMS soient rapidement et durablement financees etdotees de personnel. Il s'agit de fournir des services administratifs de hautequalite et previsibles (ressources humaines, finances, planification dutravail, gestion des subventions) au Programme d'urgence, y compris pendant lesinterventions d'urgence, ainsi qu'un suivi efficace (et le respect desprocedures operationnelles standard), conduisant a l'amelioration continue et al'excellence des processus operationnels.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Sous lasupervision directe Du charge desoperations, le titulaire exerce les fonctions suivantes :- Conduiredes vehicules de bureau pour assurer le transport du personnel autorise et lalivraison et la collecte du courrier, des documents et d'autres articles ;-Rencontrer le personnel officiel a l'aeroport et facilite les formalitesd'immigration et de douane selon les besoins ;- Etre leResponsable de l'entretien quotidien du vehicule assigne, verifie l'huile,l'eau, la batterie, les freins, les pneus, etc ;- Effectuerdes reparations mineures et prendre des dispositions pour d'autres reparations,un entretien regulier et s'assurer que le vehicule est maintenu propre ;- Consigneles deplacements officiels, le kilometrage quotidien, les consommationsd'essence, les vidanges d'huile, le graissage, etc ;- S'assurerque les mesures exigees par les regles et reglements sont prises en casd'implication dans un accident ;- S'acquitterd'autres taches au besoin.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: Au moins un diplomed'etudes secondaires du premier cycle et un permis de conduire valide du pays. Desirable: Un certificat en mecanique serait un atout.

Experience

Essential: Au moins deux ans d'experience detravail en tant que conducteur et un dossier de conduite securitaire. Desirable: Une experience au sein de l'ONU serait un avantage.

Skills

  • Connaissance des regles et reglements de conduite du pays et descompetences en reparation de vehicules mineurs ;- Capacite de lire, d'ecrire et de comprendre des instructions dans lalangue de travail, et- La capacite de rediger un rapport d'accident concis et fidele.

REMUNERATION

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at MGA 9,842,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
