OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

L'objectif de ce programme est d'apporter un appui dans le cadre des urgences humanitaires (epidemies, catastrophes naturelles, guerre etc.). Pour y faire face, beaucoup de moyens logistiques (materiels et humains) sont deployes a tous les niveaux de l'organisation et au-dela.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Sous la supervision directe du charge de l'administration de EPR/hub, le titulaire s'acquitte des taches suivantes: - Conduire le personnel, Consultants et autres fonctionnaires officiels dans tous leurs deplacements tant a Dakar qu'a l'interieur du pays dans les vehicules de l'Organisation et suivant le besoin exprime;- Conduire les vehicules du service pour assurer le transport du personnel autorise et la livraison et la collecte du courrier, des documents et autres elements;- Accueillir le personnel officiel et les consultants a l'aeroport et faciliter les formalites douanieres et d'immigration, au besoin;- Entretenir quotidiennement le vehicule qui lui a ete affecte. Il s'agit de: verifier l'huile, l'eau, la batterie, les freins, les pneus, etc., effectuer les reparations mineures et prendre les dispositions pour les autres reparations, faire l'entretien regulier et veiller a ce que le vehicule reste propre;- Consigner les voyages officiels, le kilometrage, les itineraires parcourues, les consommations de carburant, la vidange, le graissage quotidiens, etc.;- Veiller a ce que les mesures prescrites par les regles et reglements soient prises en cas d'accident;- Executer toute autre tache assignee.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: Au minimum le brevet du premier cycle du secondaire et un permis de conduire valide du pays. Desirable: un certificat en mecanique automobile serait un atout.

Experience

Essential: Avoir au moins deux ans d'experience dans la conduite en tant que chauffeur et des antecedents de conduite en toute securite. Desirable: Une experience dans le systeme des Nations Unies serait un avantage.

Skills

--> Connaissance des regles et reglements du pays en matiere de conduite et capacite a effectuer les reparations mineures du vehicule;--> Capacite a lire, ecrire et comprendre les instructions dans la langue de travail et--> Une capacite a rediger un rapport concis et fidele des accidents;--> Une bonne connaissance du code de la route

REMUNERATION

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at XOF 5,431,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
