OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

Les unites d'appui administratif des bureaux de pays (CSU) ont ete mises en place dans l'organigramme pour fournir un appui aux responsables et aux membres du personnel afin de leur permettre d'exercer pleinement leurs responsabilites dans l'environnement du GSM et de garantir la conformite aux politiques, procedures, regles et reglements dans toutes les transactions ou pour toutes les questions administratives et financieres, dans le contexte d'un systeme de planification des ressources institutionnelles (ERP).

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Under the direct supervision of the NPO/Operations Officer, the incumbent will perform the following duties: -Drives the vehicles of the service to ensure the transport of authorized personnel and the delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items;Welcomes official staff at the airport and facilitates customs and immigration formalities, as required;Responsible for the daily maintenance of the affected vehicle, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, shoes, etc., carries out minor repairs and makes arrangements for other repairs, regular maintenance and ensures that the vehicle remains clean;Records official travel, mileage, fuel consumption, emptying, daily lubrication, etc.;Ensures that the measures prescribed by the rules and regulations are taken in the event of an accident;Performs any other assigned tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: At least the certificate of the first cycle of the secondary and a valid driving license all categories of the country. Desirable:

Experience

Essential: Have at least1 years of progressive experience in driving as a driver and a history of safe driving. Desirable: Experience in the United Nations system would be an advantage.

Skills

Knowledge of the country's driving rules and regulations and ability to perform minor vehicle repairs;Ability to read, write and understand instructions in the working language andAn ability to write a concise and accurate report of accidents.

Use of Language Skills

Essential: Expert knowledge of French. Expert knowledge of Espagnol. Desirable: Intermediate knowledge of English. Intermediate knowledge of UN Languages.

REMUNERATION

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at XAF 8,458,610 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
