With its growing numbers of projects, MDF has been supported by increasing number of Online Volunteers too, engaged through the UN Volunteers platform, UVP. To that end, MDF is in a bigger need to manage its Online Volunteers in accordance with UNV policy and guidelines and in this regard in need of support from three Online Volunteers who will conduct research on the policy put out by UNV and draft a standard recruitment procedure.

Specifically, the selected Online Volunteers will be assigned with: - The first Online Volunteer will conduct research and create an original draft of the procedure - The second Online volunteer will review the procedure, edit and provide advice and recommendation - The third Online Volunteer will review the final draft and summarise the procedures.

The three Online Volunteers will work collaboratively using Google Drive with advice and recommendation from MDF contact person in Papua New Guinea.

The task is inline with MDFs objective and goals to ensure the UNV platform is utilized to benefit MDF in accordance with UNV guidelines and policies.

The task requires the support of three Online Volunteers who will assist MDF to draft a standard recruiting procedure which will be used by MDF and MDF administrators in engaging and recruiting Online Volunteers recruited through the UNV portal. The selected three Online Volunteers will work on a single document which can be used as a standard recruitment procedure utilized by MDF's team and its currently serving Online Volunteers who are engaged by Foundation.

  • MDF requires the support of Online Volunteers who are familiar with UNV Online Volunteering (OV) service, the platform (UVP) and have knowledge of the UN SDGs.
  • Must have a Degree in Law or Public Relations
  • Able to work towards a deadline and can work with people of different cultures and background.
  • PhD students are encouraged to apply
