You have:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in developing funding proposals and preparing technical or donor reports, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
- Excellent drafting, writing, and formulation skills, with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality funding proposals and technical reports.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing, compiling, and finalizing proposal documents and donor reports.
- Prior experience working with the United Nations or other international organizations is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multicultural teams comprising both international and national personnel.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver quality outputs within tight deadlines.

The Technical and Reporting volunteer will report directly to the Programme Management Unit (PMU) Manager at the WHO Sudan Country Office (WCO).
The volunteer will work closely with PMU members and the technical units within the WCO to support the completion of the biannual technical report under the SHARE project. Technical units will provide the required inputs, while the Officer will be responsible for compiling, reviewing, and finalizing the report ahead of the deadline (by 15 July 2026).
In addition, the volunteer will support closely with the PMU Team Lead to develop and finalize a funding proposal for specific donor. Guidance will be provided by the Team Lead throughout this process, and coordination with the Technical Officer may be required to finalize the proposal.
Support the development of one (1) funding proposal by collecting and consolidating technical inputs from the relevant technical officers, drafting the proposal, and finalizing it in accordance with the guidance and direction provided by the PMU Team Lead.
In collaboration with the technical team, compile, review, and finalize one (1) biannual technical report under the Sudan Health Assistance and Response to Emergencies (SHARE) project, ensuring the report is comprehensive, accurate, and submitted before the 15 July deadline.
