UN Women Regional Office for the Arab States (ROAS) supports countries across the region to advance Women, Peace and Security (WPS), Humanitarian Action (HA), and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). Expanding partnerships and mobilizing resources is essential to scale impact and respond to emerging needs.
To strengthen donor engagement efforts, UN Women ROAS is seeking Online Volunteers to conduct targeted donor intelligence and mapping and support the drafting of concept notes.

UN Women ROAS is seeking four Online Volunteers to support donor intelligence efforts and support concept note development. .
What you will do:
- Research and map potential donors and partners (bilateral, multilateral, foundations)
- Identify funding priorities and thematic focus areas
- Compile key information on donor strategies, regions, and funding trends
- Organize findings into structured donor profiles and summaries
- Draft concept notes based on provided inputs and templates
- Structure content (context, objectives, outcomes, activities)
- Align proposals with donor priorities and programme goals
- Revise drafts based on feedback
Expected deliverables: ✔ 3–5 donor profiles (template provided) ✔ 1 consolidated donor mapping sheet ✔ Short summary of key funding trends and opportunities ✔ 1–2 complete concept notes ✔ Edited and refined versions based on feedback
