You have:
- At least 3 years of professional experience at the national level in reporting, programme support, monitoring and evaluation, communications, or related areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to draft clear and structured reports, summaries and updates.
- Ability to collect, consolidate and analyse inputs from multiple programme sections and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, consistency and clarity of reporting content.
- Understanding of results-based reporting, including programme indicators, activities, outputs and results; ability to collect and organize information from different teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document production, editing, formatting and quality-assurance processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with colleagues from different backgrounds and across programme sections.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy work environment.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Organized, self-motivated and willing to learn; able to follow up with colleagues to obtain needed information for reports.
- Willingness to follow UN security rules and ethical standards.
- Strong commitment to child rights, equity and development results, and alignment with UNICEF’s core values and mandate.

The UN Volunteer will be part of the Partnerships Section within the UNICEF Jordan Country Office. The section plays a central role in resource mobilization, donor relations, partnership coordination and strategic reporting, supporting the delivery of UNICEF’s multi‑sectoral Country Programme in Jordan. The programme is implemented in a complex humanitarian and development context within a middle‑income country, balancing responses for refugees with long‑term investments in national systems across education, child protection, health and nutrition, WASH, social protection, and adolescent development. The assignment contributes to strengthening partnership management and high‑quality reporting in a context of increasing resource constraints.
National UN Specialist Volunteers in Jordan are entitled to:

Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Partnerships, the UN Volunteer will:
- Provide reporting, coordination and partnership support across UNICEF Jordan’s Country Programme.
- Contribute to strengthening high quality donor reporting, compliance with donor requirements, and effective communication of results. -Support the preparation and organization of donor meetings, preparation and timely submission of donor reports.
- Contribute to the drafting of donor briefings and update and tracking of reporting timelines.
- Support coordination with internal programme teams to ensure accurate, results-based reporting.

Amman, the capital, is a peaceful city with over four million residents. People are friendly to visitors. Services in terms of banking, transportation, health and communications are easily available. Though Arabic is the official language, English is widely spoken among the majority of the population, especially in Amman. Road network is good both in terms of spread and quality of the roads. Public transportation in Amman is limited. Taxis are relatively cheap and easily available. There are a number of shopping malls, restaurants, gyms, and cinemas. A large variety of accommodation options can be found; however, it is worth noting that prices in Amman have generally increased in the past few years. There are no specific security threats. Amman is a very easy city in which to live; large, many amenities, very modern and serviced by an international airport with direct flights to most capital cities. According to the assessment of the UN Department of Safety & Security (UNDSS) Jordan is a family duty station (category A hardship).
As this is a national UN Volunteer assignment, the UN Volunteer will be responsible for arranging his/her own housing and other living essentials. National UN Volunteers are part of the insurance plan.
