You have:
- Master degree or equivalent in International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, Communications, Business or Public Administration is required.
- 24 months of experience in reporting and donor relations is required.
- Proficiency in French and English is mandatory, Arabic is optional.
- Strong drafting, writing, research and analytical skills are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Contract
This is a UNV International Youth contract. This kind of contract is known as International UN Volunteer. It is normally internationally recruited only. More about UNV International Youth contracts.
Eligibility criteria
Candidate age: between 18 and 29 throughout the entire duration of their assignment. Nationals of the country of assignment are not eligible, except the assignments in Headquarters duty stations.
Description of task
Under the direct supervision of the Partnerships Specialist, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:
- Support the preparation of briefings and talking points for meetings and missions
- Prepare periodic reports, i.e. donor updates, internal sitreps, briefing notes for senior managers, and activity-specific reports as required.
- Prepare funding submissions for donors
- Be the focal point to ensure that donor visibility is implemented under all programmes
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required degree level:
Master degree or equivalent

Degree in International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, Communications, Business of Public Administration is required
Required experience:
24 Months
Experience remark:
- Experience in reporting, excellent writing skills.
- Experience in donor relations is an asset.
- Excellent drafting and reporting skills; good research and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
- Have affinity with or interest in development aid, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN system.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
