You have:

  • Diploma/Certificate in computing, Information technology or similar
  • Minimum of 2 year experience in warehousing and Inventory keeping
  • Knowledge of the HIV/TB context in PNG
  • Experience in working in health setting or warehouses
  • Ability to learn fast and work with little supervision
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative
  • Must have sober habit
  • Must be physically fit
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the supply chain for TB and HIV commodities are consistent and available at all times.
  • Effective communication with PSM staff, ART/TB site contacts, partners and stakeholders (HIV/TB Program, AMS, Logistics Company).
  • Execute quarterly/ monthly distribution of TB/HIV drugs through timely dispatching of TB and HIV packed orders and ensuring to have the shipment out of AMS on timely manner per the schedule
  • Together with PSM Team, participate in Quarterly stock take of TB & HIV commodities at Badili, AMS.
  • Assist in maintaining good storage condition & area for TB/HIV Drugs at Badili.
  • Assist with packing, dispatch, storage, and other administrative operations for managing TB & HIV drugs.
  • Provide support to the National PSM Coordinator and Regional PSM Coordinators.
  • Ensure security protocols and procedures are followed in the day to day operation of National office.
  • Gather all outstanding drugs and commodities needs to be dispatched.
  • Ensure all TB/HIV orders are dispatched from the dispatch Bay and collected by the contracted companies.
  • Provide dispatch support to AMS on a daily basis to HIV and TB sites around the country. This will include.
  • Updating dispatch and shipment logs to monitor and track drugs, testing kits and commodities shipments.
  • Provide labelling for all shipments dispatched.
  • Provide assistance to AMS and NDOH and TB/HIV program and other partners when required.
  • Undertake all program related activities as directed by the National STI/HIV and TB program.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with the project partners.
  • Ensure integration of work with other PR team members as well as the WV NO administrative unit.
