Job Overview / Summary (What and Why):

The Digital Fundraising development Manager helps maintain and manage fundraising websites, coordinates web content and supports web development projects for digital fundraising. He/she works closely with the product manager of fundraising platforms on UX improvements and form customization. This role also trains new users on fundraising platforms and assists in platform development updates for all markets (US, UK, DE, SE, RM).

Major Responsibilities:

1. Provide hands-on, detailed coordination of a variety of digital development projects in support of marketing and fundraising, including enhancements to fundraising platforms; on-site testing, conversion optimization and web development for integrated marketing campaigns.

2. Works in close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Mass Markets, Creative Studio, IT, Developers) to ensure development projects are delivered on deadline and with high quality; leads BAU agenda items in MarTech/Mass Market bi-weekly's.

3. Assist in managing projects timelines and deliverables on multiple ticketing systems (Salesforce, Assembla, etc), including setting up project tasks in our project management platform (Monday.com/Jira); assists with coordination of web assets (images, copy) and deliverables.

4. Assist with updates to web pages and/or marketing assets on our CMS (Drupal, Springboard) as needed (donation form editing, creation, symbolic giving product updates/edits)

5. Ensure that the visual design of fundraising efforts supports project goals and is consistent with organizational brand guidelines.

6. Work with product manager on large-scale market platform migrations, with a hand in development, project coordination, testing.

7. Maintain and monitor site performance, troubleshooting donation records and errors within fundraising platforms.

8. Participate in Quality Assurance Testing and User Assurance Testing, cross-browser and cross-device

9. Manage documentation process for new feature development of fundraising platforms in Confluence

10. Attend SCRUM meetings and collaborate with developer on sprint work load.

Other Internal and/or external contacts:

**Internal***:* Works closely with colleagues in the Marketing team; coordinates digital development projects with Marketing officers and project managers. IRC’s Marketing Technology team within the Information Technology Department is responsible for managing the enterprise supporter management platforms that support the global delivery of the IRC’s private sector resources as well as the key partnerships, advocacy and influence objectives of the Global Partnerships and Philanthropy (GPP), Communications and Advocacy departments. These platforms also play an important strategic role in the creation of IRC’s brand, its awareness and support for fundraising and advocacy goals. The platforms include the enterprise CRM platform, various donation platforms, the IRC global website and email communications platforms.

External: Works as part of web development team that includes frontend development, marketing analytics, and collaboration with external consultants (including developers, designers). Supports a global marketing team in the US, UK, DE, SE and RM in fundraising and lead acquisition campaigns with direct revenue impact. Collaborates with external consultants (including software developers and designers).

Job Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum: Associates Degree or related course work

Preferred: Coursework in Computer/Information Science or equivalent work experience

Work Experience:

CMS, Developer, Analytics/KPIs and ecommerce

Required:

· 2-3 years of experience maintaining and developing CMS style platforms, monitoring and analyzing site performance and working with development teams.

· Working knowledge of project coordination tools and Agile development processes (Jira/Assembla/Monday.com).

· Familiar with key areas of Web development: user experience design, usability, search engine optimization; high degree of comfort with technology.

· Experience with technology projects and platforms in an ecommerce or nonprofit fundraising setting.

· HTML, CSS, JavaScript development experience

· Experience with web content management using a CMS such as Drupal/Springboard.

· Experience evaluating visual design, photography for landing pages, critical thinking

· Experience in web analytics implementation, setup and maintenance.

· Experience working with Google Analytics (Universal Analytics and GA4) and marketing tags (using Google Tag Manager or similar tools)

· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

· Developed organization and problem-solving abilities.

· Experience with prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma.

Preferred:

- Experience with mobile development.

- Experience coordinating Web QA and cross-browser testing.

- Experience with Photoshop
