Overview

Contribute to the mapping of ASYCUDAWorld functionalities.

You have:

  • A first university degree, Bachelor, degree in Customs, business administration, law, economics or related area is required.
  • At least 7 years of work experience in dealing with IT system's analysis, implementation and management experience in implementation of Customs IT systems and modules is required.
  • Work experience of work in customs administration, revenue authority or trade support institution is required.
  • Combination of IT and Customs experience would be a strong advantage.
  • Work experience of dealing with NCTS solutions and/or ICT applications for e-Commerce operators is desirable.
  • Work experience of involvement in UN, EU or other international projects is desirable.
  • Fluency written and oral in English is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia the consultant will undertake following duties: - Coordinate at the national level he implementation and alignment of business processes with the new Digital Customs Platform. - Ensure that the new Digital Customs Platform meets operational and regulatory requirements - Ensure that the ASYCUDAWorld business rules, workflows, and functionalities are incorporated into the new system design - Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and system validation activities to ensure all GRS business requirements are met - Ensure business-side project milestones and deliverables are achieved within scope and time - Provide regular project status reports and updates to key stakeholders in the preparation of the technical and functional specifications to support the development of the Digital Customs Platform
