You have:
- Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, mathematics, or related field.
- A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- At least 3 years of prior work experience in healthcare or information management.
- Demonstrated experience and skill in creating Power BI data visualization, at least 2 years.
- Experience working in international organizations is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
- Prior consulting experience is an asset.
- English required; second UN working language is an asset.
Result of Service By the end of the contract the consultant will: - Submit a final published Power BI dashboard of the Clinical Adverse Event Reporting (CAER) system. - Create an instruction manual to update data to the Power BI dashboard (example will be provided)

Duties and Responsibilities This position is in the Division of Healthcare Management and Occupational Safety and Health, Office of Support Operations, Department of Operational Support. The Division of Healthcare Management and Occupational Safety and Health (DHMOSH) provides expert healthcare management and OSH services to all UN secretariat entities (Field missions, Offices Away from Headquarters and Economic Commissions), the New York based agencies funds and programs, as well as providing strategic leadership of whole-of-system medical issues through the UN Medical Directors Network.
The DHMOSH Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s overall goal of becoming a high-reliability organization by facilitating patient safety and quality improvement initiatives designed to reduce error and improve patient outcomes. Under the direct supervision of the Senior Medical Officer, the consultant will: - Conduct data analysis by organizing and developing reports and graphs as required by the Clinical Adverse Event Reporting (CAER) system in Power BI using the framework provided by CGS. - Develop Power BI dashboard reports of data derived from the Clinical Adverse Event Reporting (CAER) system using the framework provided by CGS. - Conduct data analysis by organizing and developing reports and graphs in Power BI as required by other DHMOSH initiatives. - Develop Power BI dashboard reports of data derived from other DHMOSH systems as required. Reports and all materials developed by staff members and consultants remain exclusive property of the CGS and United Nations following the consultancy. All work is confidential.
