The Youth Co:Lab Messenger chatbot provides educational and inspirational content about social entrepreneurship to youth in Asia-Pacific. The chatbot, developed on Chatfuel, can be used here: https://m.me/YouthCoLab?ref=QuizSDG. The online volunteer will work on the software Chatfuel to develop a new feature for this chatbot to showcase Youth Co:Lab’s portfolio of social enterprises. It will allow the users of the chatbot to browse through the social enterprises catalogue and filter them depending on their interests. We will be available to answer any question and provide the necessary support!

    Youth Co:Lab positions young people front and center in order to solve the region’s most pressing challenges. Co-created in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, Youth Co:Lab aims to establish a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in youth, so that they can accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship. Youth Co:Lab has been implemented in 25 countries and territories across Asia Pacific.

  • 6-10 hours per week / 4 weeks

    Previous experience developing a chatbot or understanding how a chatbot works is highly appreciated. Please describe how you were involved in chatbot development previously: which software was used, on which channels was the chatbot published and what kind of features did you develop. Previous experience using the software Chatfuel is also appreciated. Interest in social entrepreneurship, communication, youth development is a plus.
