The United Nations Common Back Office (UN CBO) Brazil is a flagship initiative under the UN Development System Reform and the UN Efficiency Agenda, designed to deliver high-quality shared operational services to UN entities in Brazil. Hosted by UNDP in Brazil, the UN CBO provides services in areas such as Administration, ICT, Procurement, Travel, Human Resources, and Protocol, promoting greater efficiency, collaboration, and the "One UN" approach. As the UN CBO continues to expand its services and engagement with UN agencies and stakeholders, there is a growing need for a consistent and professional visual identity across its communication products. Strengthening the UN CBO's branding will help improve recognition, reinforce its institutional image, and enhance the communication of its mission, services, and achievements. The Online Volunteer will support the development of graphic design concepts and visual identity materials that can be applied across presentations, reports, digital communications, templates, and other institutional products, contributing to a cohesive and modern brand aligned with United Nations visual communication standards.

We are looking for one Online Volunteer to support the UN Common Back Office (UN CBO) Brazil in strengthening its visual identity and institutional branding. Under the supervision of the UN CBO Client Management Analyst, the Online Volunteer will develop graphic design concepts and branded templates to ensure consistent, professional, and visually engaging communication materials.

The Online Volunteer will be expected to:

i. Review background materials, communication products, branding references, target audiences, and design requirements; ii. Develop visual identity concepts and graphic design proposals aligned with the UN CBO's communication objectives; iii. Design and develop a visual identity package that may include, among others: a. Word document templates; b. PowerPoint presentation templates; c. Newsletter layouts; d. Social media templates and digital communication assets; e. Website banners, icons, and visual elements; f. Report covers and publication layouts; g. Infographics, factsheets, and other communication products; h. Email signature and branded stationery templates, where applicable; iv. Revise and finalize the designs based on feedback received from the focal point, ensuring consistency across all communication products.

All materials should be developed in accordance with the corporate branding and visual identity guidelines, which will be shared with the selected Online Volunteer before the assignment begins.

A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
