You have:

Experience in using PowToon software for animation creation.
Knowledge of environmental and social sustainability issues.
Experience working with social media platforms.
Ability to collaborate in a team of volunteers.
Availability to commit 6-10 hours per week for 2 weeks.

Details

We are looking for an online volunteer(s) who could develop two animation videos on environmental and social safeguard issues using PowToon. These videos are to assist UNEP project managers’ handling of safeguard risks from the project design phase as UNEP is introducing new safeguard policy and related operational tools and requirements. Ideally, selected volunteers (2-3 people) work together for the best result (effective in conveying core messages and professional in the video quality) based on the narration scripts

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. We work with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated and well supported UN Volunteers into development programming and promote the value and global recognition of volunteerism. UNV is administered by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). UNV East and Southern Africa Regional Office covers 23 countries in in East and Southern Africa region. Going into the next half of the year, we aim to enhance our digital presence on social media and our website. The online volunteers will be fully credited for their collaboration and a certificate of satisfaction will be issued at the end of the collaboration and will enhance their professional experience while partaking this assignment.

6-10 hours per week / 2 weeks

The person who has PowToon software and knows how to use it well will be desired; knowledge on environmental and social sustainability issues and experience of working with social media are plus.
