UNFPA is the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, with a mission to deliver a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person's potential is fulfilled. UNFPA promotes gender equality and empowerment of women, girls and young people to take control of their bodies and their futures. Its three transformative goals are ending unmet need for family planning, preventable maternal death, and gender-based violence and harmful practices including child marriage and female genital mutilation by 2030.

In line with the acceleration of the achievement of the three transformative goals and the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) Programme of Action, UNFPA APRO is planning to develop a database of potential partners to enhance the operational capacity and skills of the organization, delivering or contributing to programmes and solutions.

To that end, we are seeking to collaborate with Online Volunteers for supporting us in stakeholder mapping and developing database of potential partners in the region.

We are looking for three Online Volunteers who, under the supervision of the innovation specialist, will gather data on experts, foundations and philanthropies and other regional institutions, civil society and NGOs, academic and scientific institutions, private sector companies, high-profile individuals, sports organizations and other entities. The organisations/experts must also meet the following criteria:

1) Active in the Asia-Pacific region, and working in areas related to the UNFPA mandate, as well as 2) High-profile individuals/ organizations in the region that can be approached to be members of the Equity 2030 Alliance and/or work with UNFPA APRO.

Data to be collected include: - Name of individual/organization/academic institution - Area of work/expertise - Information/documents on work done in the area - Intersections with UNFPA mandate - Potential areas of cooperation with UNFPA - Contact persons

Successful candidates will be invited for an Online Induction to brief them on further details of the assignment.

Basic computer skills, such as familiarity with email, internet browsing, and using various software applications. Clear and effective communications skills, including written communication, video calls, or other digital channels. Time management skills. Collaboration and Teamwork. Flexibility and Adaptability. Familiarity with and passion for UNFPA mandate. A relevant educational background is an asset.
