The International Day of Mother Language is observed on February 21 each year. This year (2023), the UNV Egypt office is planning to observe this day by developing a short video on the subject matter. UNV Egypt are having volunteers from over ten language backgrounds under their umbrella, among these volunteers, a suitable number of them will be selected to appear in a short video - the length of the video will not exceed 30 seconds, and deliver a short message to the audience.

The UNV Egypt is looking for 1 online creative and motivated volunteer to support our promotional efforts by developing a 20-30 second video to be posted on the social media on the International Mother Language Day 2023. The video will feature UN Volunteers speaking their own language. The volunteer will support in writing the script and provide guidelines for the volunteers to self-shoot their videos, then edit the video accordingly. We will provide the raw footage and branding of our organization, as well as guidance on how we would like the final video to look like.

Candidates should be professional video editors with previous experience in video creation/editing, have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, good verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should have required video editing skills, as well as access to necessary video editing programs, and basic graphic design skills with access to necessary software to get the work done.
