Overview

Support the communications team with social media campaigns for nutrition awareness.

You have:

  • Experience in digital marketing and communications.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience in running online campaigns for healthy eating and malnutrition.
  • Strong research skills and basic understanding of malnutrition and stunting problems in Timor Leste.
  • Interest in youth entrepreneurship is a plus.

We are looking for two experienced and creative Online Volunteers to support our communications team with the development of an outreach/social media campaign to raise people's awareness of nutrition and healthy eating. To this end, Online Volunteers will build an execution plan for the outreach/social media campaign and curate interesting content for our social media channels through competitive research, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification. Tasks including reading and analyzing the research materials, curating relevant content, developing and implementing a measurable social media content and activity.

    Elvi’s Fruit Salad is part of UNDP Youth Co:Lab Springabord Programme, it provides affordable, fresh and healthy Timorese fruit salads. We support the country’s agricultural sector by buying all our ingredients from local farmers. Our fruit salads are freshly made in our restaurant, where we also host events to teach the community about nutrition and benefits of fruits, as people in Timor-Leste suffer from unfortunate stunting and children malnutrition.

  • Volunteers: 2 needed

  • 6-10 hours per week / 6 weeks

    Candidates should have experience in digital marketing and communications with strong organizational and planning skills, experience in running online campaigns for healthy eating and malnutrition; Strong research skills and have basic understanding of malnutrition and stunting problems in Timor Leste; Interest in youth entrepreneurship is a plus.
