Support Binheyo's campaign and manage their social media channels

You have:

  • Previous experience in campaigning or strategy development is required.
  • Good knowledge of online marketing tools and marketing channels is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Strong writing and editing skills are a must.
  • Experience with designing outreach and marketing materials is desirable.
  • Interest in social entrepreneurship and innovation is a plus.

We are looking for 2 experienced and creative Online Volunteers to support Binheyo's communications team with the development of a product pre-launch campaign on various social media platforms to increase visibility and attract potential users. The Online Volunteers will use our public materials and other resources to create and curate interesting content for our social media channels for the soft launch of Binheyo's growkits. Tasks include developing and implementing social media content (2-3 per week) and activity, reading and analyzing internal resources (photos, videos and marketing plan etc.) and curating relevant social media posts on Instagram and Twitter.

    Binheyo is part of UNDP Youth:CoLab Pogramme. It is a social enterprise that produces equipment (growkits) and provides expertise (interactive online platform) to enable everyone to grow organic crops small-scale regardless of experience in the comfort of their homes. We help new generation to understand the value of farming and empower more young people to involve in the agriculture industry. We are able to supply cafes and restaurants in the Maldives with fresh and healthy food by selling the vegetable we harvest through the growkits, and help local farmers generate more income. Currently, we have a marketing plan ready to increase online visibility and looking for creative volunteers to help us execute the marketing plan by managing the social media channels of Binheyo.

  • 1-5 hours per week / 6 weeks

    Candidates should have previous experience in campaigning or strategy development, good knowledge of online marketing tools and marketing channels, excellent communication and strong writing and editing skills, experience with designing of outreach/marketing materials. Intertest in social entrepreneurship and innovation is a plus.
