You have:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or undergraduate students under the youth category.
- Strong video production and social media outreach skills, as well as a well-prepared contingency plan for unforeseen challenges (e.g., natural disasters), are highly desirable.
- Commitment to social work and community service, deep understanding of local conditions in rural China, and inclined to establish meaningful connections with rural students.
- Experience in facilitating and teaching, such as summer camps, volunteer teaching programs, or formal teaching positions.
- Candidates with educational backgrounds are preferred.

The "Movers4Climate" initiative is a flagship program by UNDP China, aimed at empowering young climate leaders to advocate for and implement climate action initiatives through volunteer service in rural areas. Launched jointly with the China Education Support Programme, it anchors the Regional Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP) in China.
In 2025, Movers4Climate intends to engage a diverse pool of volunteers, including 1,000 online participants, with a dedicated focus on reaching remote rural areas to support sustainable development education. The Online Volunteers will participate in virtual training sessions to strengthen their skills and capabilities, and will be involved in preparing community training materials and conducting awareness-raising activities. This initiative aligns with UNDP’s overarching goals of promoting inclusive and equitable development, ensuring no one is left behind, and fostering a shared commitment to global sustainability objectives.
We are seeking Online Volunteers for the Movers4Climate Youth Green Action initiative. All Online Volunteers are expected to fully participate in the Movers4Climate project cycle. These sessions include: Introduction to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Climate Action (SDG 13), Life Below Water (SDG 14), and Life on Land (SDG 15) and etc.
Online Volunteers must apply for volunteering assignments and complete the required training sessions to develop their skills and training plan for Movers4Climate.
The selected candidates are expected to: · Actively participate in the Movers4Climate full project cycle, including all four online trainings. · Develop community training materials and support online rural teaching activities to train over 150 adolescents in rural areas, especially in the mid and western regions of China.
