Develop curriculum for English proficiency in children with disabilities.

You have:

• Professional background in the area of education, including knowledge and several years’ experience in curriculum development and/or instructional design.
• Experience in teaching and training the tutors is preferred.

Assignment is completed online in the volunteer's home country. The Ann Foundation is located in the United States and its curriculum design team builds lessons for virtual tutors across the globe.

Development of culturally appropriate curriculum to support the acquisition of English language proficiency for children with disabilities. Working from an outcomes-based framework, you will align detailed materials, activities, and assessments that meet the needs of on-the-ground tutors while also supporting the personal and social development of learners.

Responsibilities: Curriculum development, refinement, and adaptation according to feedback. Alignment of curricular resources with educational best practices and the unique learning needs of rural children new to the English language.
