Development of culturally appropriate curriculum to support the acquisition of English language proficiency for children with disabilities. Working from an outcomes-based framework, you will align detailed materials, activities, and assessments that meet the needs of on-the-ground tutors while also supporting the personal and social development of learners. Responsibilities: Curriculum development, refinement, and adaptation according to feedback. Alignment of curricular resources with educational best practices and the unique learning needs of rural children new to the English language.   • Volunteers: 6 needed

  • 1-5 hours per week / 26 weeks

    Professional background in the area of education, including knowledge and several years’ experience in curriculum development and/or instructional design. Applicants will be teaching and training the tutors. Preference will be given to retired teachers.
