The task will be based on Ocean Innovation Challenge (OIC) Blue Economy Accelerated 4th Call for Proposals which is now open for submissions. This call is for and by SIDS and LDCs, and will support local organizations, including start-ups and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as local NGOs and academic organizations (non-research!) in coastal LDCs and SIDS. Selected innovators will benefit from the UNDP OIC Incubator mentoring and up to US$40,000 deliverable-based contract support to pilot blue economy innovations for up to maximum of 6 months.
With aligned and shared objectives with the call, which can support MDF to continue its mission in PNG, specifically to help coastal communities to live a quality life and sustain their living meaningfully. Thus, MDF intends to participate in this call for proposal and to that end needs the support of exert Online Volunteers in the preparation of the submission.
MDF requires the support of 3 Online Volunteers to work on a proposal which will be submitted to the ''Ocean Innovation Challenge (OIC) Blue Economy Accelerated''. The selected Online Volunteers will work closely with the contact person from MDF to ensure a quality and innovative project idea is develop and submitted to the concern donor. The proposal will be developed in accordance to the requirements and guidance document from the 4th Call ACCELERATED BLUE ECONOMY EDITION FOR SIDS AND COASTAL LDC.

The Online Volunteers will be certified after the completion of the task.
Excellent proposal writer with knolwedge in blue economy climate change and environmental management. Qualification in proposal writing. Must work with a UN agency in the past. Good English command. Can develop a quality innovative proposal.
