You have:
- Proven experience in designing and laying out reports and publications.
- Strong graphic design skills, including proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar software.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Excellent oral and written skills in English and Arabic.
- Excellent drafting, formulation, and reporting skills.
- Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive.

- Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.), email, and internet.

This assignment is part of UNFPA GCC’s efforts to enhance the presentation and communication of its results through its 2025 Annual Report. This year’s edition holds special significance as it coincides with the celebration of 20 years of UNFPA presence in Oman for the GCC. Consequently, this will be an extended special edition designed to highlight not just the past year, but two decades of achievements. The volunteer will design and create the layout of this comprehensive report, incorporating feature stories, archival and current imagery, and advanced data visualization. The goal is to produce an appealing and informative document that vividly showcases the office's 20-year legacy of impact for its external partners.
The Online Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: - Design the layout and structure of the UNFPA Annual Report 2025 and 20years achievements report in the GCC, ensuring a clear, concise, and engaging presentation of information. - Develop visually appealing graphic elements, including infographics, charts, and other data visualizations, to effectively communicate key data and achievements. - Incorporate photos and other visual content into the report design. - Ensure the report is designed to be accessible and user-friendly in both English and Arabic. - Utilize graphic design software and data visualisation tools to create high-quality designs. - Collaborate with UNFPA office team members to ensure the design aligns with the organization's branding and communication objectives.
