MDF is concerned with the development of the residents community, of which medical care is an important part. However, in Papua New Guinea, community-based health care services are still in the developmental stage. For this reason, we would like to solicit some experts' opinions through the network about the planning of medical care work in residential communities, from both academic and practical perspectives. This planning can be a reference of successful cases in developed countries or an exploration of developing countries in this field, and we hope to solicit more professional opinions. We will hand over this Research Proposal to the local community management to provide reference materials for their decision-making.

To that end, we are seeking the support of Online Volunteers with expertise in public health and medical care programme to: - Collaborate with MDF staff and community members to assess the current state of medical services and identify program gaps or needs; - Research the cultural beliefs, practices, and perspectives on health of groups including women, youth, rural populations, and indigenous communities; - Identify strategies to make programs inclusive and accessible to Papua New Guinea’s cultural diversity; - Write a proposal and develop training method for healthcare workers on providing culturally sensitive care.

Background in public health, social work, anthropology, or related fields; Experience designing culturally appropriate programs; Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse communities; Excellent research and analytical skills; Resourceful and adaptable to remote settings; Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
