You have:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing or a related fine arts field, OR bachelor's degree in any arts field with a complete technical certificate in graphic design is required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in graphic production, including from start to published/printed product, with knowledge of printing processes and color management is required.
- Strong practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, CorelDraw, Final Cut HD, etc. is desirable.
- Working experience with the United Nations or similar inter/international organization in Lebanon or elsewhere is desirable.
- Fluent in English and Arabic are required.

Work Location Beirut
Expected duration 4 weeks maximum
Duties and Responsibilities The designer is expected to fulfill all the design and layout needs for the publishing of the 2021 UN Lebanon Results Report in English and in Arabic for print and online distribution. For both the reports in English and Arabic, the designer is expected to: - Design and layout the report, which is about 25 pages long, including a cover and back page, a page of UN logos, and an Annex of acronyms for online and print versions. The report will include pictures, logos (both of which will be provided) and infographics (expected to be developed by the designer). The design will follow from previous years', available design guidelines and a new Results template. - Design the infographics to be used for the report, which will include a set of results in four sections, and develop/shape some icons, some of which will be tailored as communication material. - Design a specific number of graphs (6-7) and tables (1-2) based on information and graphs provided. - Update the design of the report based on feedback provided by the RCO. Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing or a related fine arts field, OR bachelor's degree in any arts field with a complete technical certificate in graphic design is required. Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in graphic production, including from start to published/printed product, with knowledge of printing processes and color management is required; Experience in page layout and design; Strong practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, CorelDraw, Final Cut HD, etc. is desirable; Working experience with the United Nations or similar inter/national organization in Lebanon or elsewhere is desirable. Language: Fluent in English and Arabic are required.
