Overview

Design the NDC 3.0 report for Yemen and supporting deliverables.

You have:

  • Proven experience in content creation, and basic graphic design
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English (Arabic skills are an asset)
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop
  • Understanding of social media best practices and engagement strategies
  • Ability to meet deadlines and respond to feedback promptly
  • A degree in communications, graphic design, journalism, marketing, or a related field is considered an asset

UN-Habitat is implementing a GCF readiness project focused on climate change mitigation. The project called ‘Supporting Yemen’s Low Emissions Development through the preparation of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), while enhancing required capacities and project pipeline in support of reducing emission’ will deliver a National Determined Contribution (NDC) to be submitted to the UNFCCC in May 2026.

The NDC 3.0 should be designed from end of April and May 2026

Under the guidance of the project team leader, the Online Volunteer will be expected to: - Design the NDC 3.0 report for Yemen (70-80 pages) in English - Design a 1-4 page summary of the deliverables under the project - Provide editable source files for all designs (e.g., PSD, AI, or Canva links).

Ensure that all materials follow UN-Habitat’s brand guidelines and are adapted for different platforms, Incorporate best practices for engagement and clear, culturally sensitive messaging.
