Overview

Design and develop the annual overview for UN-Habitat.

You have:

  • Experience in graphic design is required.
  • Ability to create layouts and infographics in both English and Arabic is essential.
  • Must have regular access to the internet to communicate and work effectively.
  • Ability to maintain close communication with UN-Habitat and ROAS is essential.
  • Detail-oriented approach towards graphic design work is very important.

You will be tasked to create and develop a layout/ design for ROAS' annual overview. The overview/ infographic brochure should give an illustrated brief on UN-Habitat's work in the Arab Region (2020), provide relevant urban figures and facts, as well as highlight key results and achievements. The brief will be a combination of text, images and info-graphics and should be about 16-20 pages max. You will be responsible for creating the layout, and developing the needed infographics to visualize numbers (around 5-8) in both English and Arabic. You will be responsible for entering the content into the layout in both English and Arabic. Also, you have to be able to communicate through e-mails and Skype calls.

    ROAS' overview is intended to give shareholders and other interested people information about UN-Habitat's activities, areas of work and future work in the Arab Region. This overview will enhance UN-Habitat's visibility and outreach, particularly in the Arab Region, as well as raise awareness on its mandate as the UN-Agency focused on implementing SDG11.

    Detail-oriented. Previous work in graphic designing. Regular access to the internet. Being able to maintain a close and timely communication with UN-Habitat, ROAS.
