We are looking for one Online Volunteers to support our UNicoins project within the remit of the United Nations Innovation Network. The Online Volunteers will be asked to design a White Paper for UNicoins, including updating infographics and ensuring that final document is easy to understand by readers.

    UNicoins are an enterprise crypto-asset based on distributed ledger technology (DLT) for use within the United Nations system. UNicoins, digital tokens represent UN personnel’s time spent contributing to cross-system projects to incentivise and account for collaboration. This proof-of-concept (POC) results from an effective collaboration for Reimagining the United Nations that is led by a committed team of Young UN staff from across the United Nations system incorporating an innovative digital token SDG solution for a time based currency to incentivize cross-UN system collaboration.

  • 1-5 hours per week / 1 weeks

    Candidates should have experience with In-Design, Illustrator, or similar technical design skills for professional publications. Although infographics have been created there may be need for redesigning them to ensure consistency with the overall look and feel of the document. Candidates asked to provide examples of their previous work when applying to this opportunity! This task will require a quick turn around so those interested should be committed to this task for the short duration.
