We are seeking an online volunteer skilled in graphic design and creative to create two flyers and 4-6 graphic pieces for our upcoming National Child and Adolescent Mental Health Awareness Day (NCAMHAD) activities. This project is a major initiative to raise awareness of the issues and causes integral to child and adolescent mental health and share resources with parents. Our observation of this year is particularly significant. The COVID-19 pandemic has been distressing for our children and youth – especially children with disabilities and those who already experience mental health challenges. Under the theme: "The Power of Play: Helping Children Cope in the COVID-19 Era," we will host a free virtual Child and Adolescent Mental Health Virtual Roundtable event. This will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021, between 6:00 and 9:00 pm EST. The graphic designer will create design pieces to be used on the website, social media activities, and print media to promote the day and the event.

When my son Nathan was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, he was only nine months old. The news was devastating to my family, and I felt like my life was over. Feeling lost, out of my depth, and alone, I struggled for years seeking answers.
