[5-Year Evaluation]

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) is currently conducting an evaluation of the United Nations Project Office on Governance (UNPOG) to assess its performance and to provide recommendations to strengthen the Office’s future work. The evaluation will draw among others from surveys conducted with beneficiary countries, soliciting feedback from partner agencies, and consultation with the host country to review the relevance and impact of UNPOG’s activities. The report is intended to provide an overview of UNPOG’s contribution to the strengthening of public administration capacities for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, as well as highlight lessons learned and recommendations on the way forward.

[15-Year History Review]

15-Year History Review will cover establishment of UNPOG and its mission, objectives, structure, pillars, governance and its evolving role over the last 15 years. The report is intended to provide UN DESA/DPIDG/UNPOG’s role in supporting capacity development efforts, UNPOG’s contributions and achievements and its impact and success stories from around the world. It will also demonstrate key points from the audit and evaluation reports.

We are looking for two skilled and creative online volunteers to assist our team in designing the layout/graphic design of the DESA Reports, specifically for UNPOG’s 5-Year Evaluation and 15-Year History Review. They will be asked to create a design for the report which consists of approximately 100 pages each, including tables, graphs, images, and photos. One volunteer will specifically be recruited with the role of assisting with the design and production of promotional, and videos. The design and layout should follow our organization design guidelines which will be shared with the online volunteer in advance. The online volunteers will be recognized and acknowledged for their efforts in the reports and the promotional videos.
